Company History

38+ Years of Excellence
Kinedyne began in New Jersey in 1968 to provide synthetic web tie-downs as an alternative to chains for securing cargo on flatbed trailers. From this beginning, Kinedyne has evolved into the world's leading provider of cargo control products for the transportation industry.

In 1978, Kinedyne established a winch and load bar manufacturing facility in Prattville, Alabama. The facility was expanded in 1984 to include the production of tie-down webbing. Kinedyne opened a warehouse facility in Rancho Cucamonga, California, in 1987 to provide better service to our West Coast distributors. The west coast warehouse facility was recently relocated to Reno, Nevada. In 1989, Kinedyne purchased Aeroquip Corporation's Cargo Control Division and built a major manufacturing and distribution center in Lawrence, Kansas. This facility is also home to our Customer Service, Quality Control and Engineering departments. To continue in the Kinedyne tradition of being on the cutting edge of technology, a state-of-the-art roll forming and powder coating facility was opened in Painesville, Ohio in 2000.

All of these additions have allowed Kinedyne to provide our customers the support products and excellent service that they have come to expect.

Capacity Ratings
All ratings are for products in new condition. Breaking strengths shown on this website are based on the load a component or assembly will withstand before failing. Age, wear or damage to any tie-down system can greatly reduce its strength. All products should be inspected prior to each use.

WORKING LOAD LIMITS SHOWN ON THIS WEBSITE ARE RATED AT ONE-THIRD OF THE BREAKING STRENGTH WITH THE EXCEPTION OF CHAIN PRODUCTS. Unless otherwise specified, all ratings are based on a straight tensile pull. Load directions other than straight can result in a significant reduction in breaking strength.

The ratings shown on this website are contingent upon using Kinedyne track, beams, webbing and hardware as a system. Cargo control products must be attached to securing points of equal or greater strength to maintain the established working load limit & break-strength rating.

Note: All products shown on this website are intended to be used as cargo securing devices. Products are not to be used for lifting.

Warning: Products on this website may be subjected to dirt, mud snow, ice, road salt, cleaning solution, etc., and therefore require inspection, cleaning and lubricating to ensure that they are in proper operating condition.

Caution: Webbing straps must be protected when used on rough or sharp objects. All worn, deformed or damaged products should be removed from service immediately and replaced.

All Kinedyne products shall be used in accordance with local, state, federal and industry regulations. IT IS THE OWNER’S AND/OR USER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO EVALUATE THE SUITABILITY OF ANY CARGO SECURING PRODUCT FOR THEIR PARTICULAR APPLICATION. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH RECOMMENDED USAGE GUIDELINES MAY RESULT IN CARGO DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.
