New Strap Ratings
Kinedyne has upgraded 4" winch straps, with flat hooks, grab hooks and chain anchors to a 5,400 lb. working load limit. 3" and 4" ratchet straps with flat hooks have also been upgraded to 5,400 lb. working load limit to make all 3" and 4" ratchet straps a minimum 5,400 lb. working load limit.
Product Warranties
Limited Warranty
Kinedyne products are warranted for a period of six (6) months from date of shipment to be free from defects in material or workmanship. Any products found to be defective in material or workmanship within the warranty period will be repaired or replaced. This warranty does not extend to any product which has been subjected to misuse, abuse, accident, negligence, exposure to the elements or chemicals, alteration or unauthorized repair. Upon notification that a product has been found to be defective, an authorized return number must be issued by Kinedyne prior to return of product. Kinedyne will issue a Return Authorization and confirm the location the product should be returned to via Prepaid freight. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR MERCHANT ABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PRACTICAL PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT WILL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOSS OF VEHICLE, CARGO OR PROFITS.
Product Specific Warranties
CAST MANDREL WINCH PRODUCT WARRANTY
DATE: SEPTEMBER 1, 2009
All Kinedyne Cast Mandrel Winches are warranted for a period of three (3) years from date of shipment to be free from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is limited to proper functionality during normal operation and does not extend to any product which has been subjected to misuse, abuse, accident, negligence, exposure to the elements or chemicals, alteration or unauthorized repair. Due to varying environmental conditions and applications, it is not unusual to experience varying degrees of rusting or wear during the warranty period.
K2 KAPTIVE BEAM SYSTEMS & COMPONENTS

K2 KAPTIVE BEAM SYSTEMS WARRANTY All Kinedyne K2 Kaptive Beam Systems and Components are warranted for a period of two (2) years from date of shipment to be free from defects in material and workmanship. VOLUNTARY RECALL OF COMBINATION STYLE WINCH BARS

Kinedyne has initiated a voluntary recall of two Combination style Winch Bars due to a manufacturing problem. The recall is limited to products shipped during a limited period of time. Details of the recall notice and procedures to return the recalled product are detailed below for your consideration.

DUE TO A MANUFACTURING ANOMALY, THE SUBJECT WINCH BARS MAY BE PRONE TO FRACTURE AT THE WELD THAT JOINS THE STEEL BAR TO THE BOX END (CHAIN BINDER). |

| Consequence: THIS ANOMALY MAY CAUSE THE WELD JOINT TO FAIL AND THE BOX END TO ABRUPTLY SEPARATE DURING NORMAL USE. IF THE WELD FAILS UNEXPECTEDLY, THE WINCH BAR COULD STRIKE THE USER OR CAUSE THE USER TO LOSE HIS OR HER BALANCE AND FALL (ESPECIALLY WHEN THE USER IS POSITIONED ON TOP OF THE TRAILER OR ITS CARGO DURING USE). |
