Bulk Webbing

Kinedyne has been producing webbing in our Alabama plant for over 25 years, making us the industry experts in manufacturing webbing products. This textile production capability allows us to provide quality strap assemblies and bulk webbing at a competitive price. ... Our web plant operations encompass all aspects of web manufacturing, including beaming, weaving, finishing, roll up and packing of web products. Our in-house capabilities also give us the flexibility to produce custom stenciled strap assemblies within a very short lead time for 3,000-foot minimum requests.

Kinedyne offers a broad range of webbing specifically designed for tie-down applications. These webbings vary according to strength rating, material, thickness, and width.

Our stencil design is a backup to the working load limit ratings currently printed on the strap. Strap products fabricated from Kinedyne’s webbing are "beyond compliant" and will stand up to the most demanding tie-down applications.

Working load capacity information provided in this category is intended to help you make decisions when selecting your cargo control system. When considering the working load limit, remember:

All ratings are for products in new condition.
Age, wear, or damage to any tie down system can greatly reduce its strength. To ensure your system is working at capacity, always inspect all products prior to each use.

Load directions other than straight can result in a significant reduction in working load limit.
Unless otherwise specified, all ratings are based on a straight tensile pull.

Your cargo control system is only as strong as its weakest link.
The ratings shown in this category are contingent upon using Kinedyne track, beams, webbing, and hardware as a system. Cargo control products must be attached to securing points of equal or greater strength to maintain the established working load limit.

We offer two types of webbing sold as multiples of 300-foot rolls in widths ranging from 1" to 4": our Standard Webbing for cargo securement applications and our Military Webbing for military applications. The standard webbing is engineered using a tightly weaved polyester thread for enhanced durability. Our military webbing is manufactured from strong nylon to allow for more stretching and flexibility.k

Determining Your Load Capacity

When designing a cargo control system using component pieces, always select components that meet your needed load rating. Your cargo control system is only as strong as its weakest link. For example, if you have a webbing with a working load limit of 4,000 Lbs. / 1,814 Kgs., a Ratchet Buckle with a working load limit of 3,670 Lbs. / 1,665 Kgs., and end fittings with a working load limit of 1,670 Lbs. / 757 Kgs., and you sew these components together using a sew pattern with a 2,000 Lbs. / 907 Kgs. working load limit, then the load limit of the system is only 1,670 Lbs. / 757 Kgs.

When sewing webbing into your system, always consider the strength of the sew pattern you use. When choosing your sew pattern, make sure you select a pattern that will support your needed load limit. The only way to determine the strength of a sew pattern is to properly test it. Refer to current WSTDA (Web Sling & Tie Down Association) recommended practices for proper test methods. Preassembled Kinedyne cargo control systems are always sewn to support the stated working load limit. Never use Kinedyne components for lifting applications.

Standard Bulk Webbing

Bulk Webbing Standard Bulk Webbing is available in such a variety of sizes, strengths, colors, and thickness that you’ll find exactly the right web for the job. Our webbing constitutes the true strength of nearly any tie down strap, and we’ve built our webbing with unparalleled quality and standards to provide you with the best options in the market. Choose from our signature web, our K-FORCE web, or our Rhino MAX web for your tie down strap.

This webbing is manufactured with a sew pattern that matches the strength of the web to the durability of the hardware, establishing a flawless connection between the two in order to create the ideal tie down strap. Ratchet Straps, Winch Straps, Logistic Straps, and Utility Straps, our standard webbing is what makes these tie down straps the strongest and most reliable for nearly any kind of securement job.

Military Webbing

Webbing Our Military-Spec Webbing is designed to provide heavy-duty, high-tensile strength for a number of different applications for straps and fasteners, offering reliable security with each use. This webbing is made in the USA, is Berry Compliant, and has the MIL Spec, Type, and Class listed in each description. It’s available in 1", 1 3/4", and 2" sizes with a color choice of olive drab, dark blue, gray, black, or yellow.

Unlike our standard webbing, our military webbing is engineered with nylon. This nylon webbing is highly durable, rugged, and designed for long-lasting use. It has a strong resistance to abrasion, tears, and wear. Unlike polyester, nylon is stretchier, allowing for more maneuverability and better give, making it ideal for situations that call for enhanced flexibility.
