Choose from our collection of Overcenter Buckles if you’re looking for a strong and durable tensioning device to help you with your load securement job. We have these tensioning buckles ...
in 1", 1 3/4", and 2" sizes, all of which offer reliable security with very little effort. Built with heat-treated carbon steel with either a zinc plated, powder coated, or stainless steel finish, our Overcenter Buckles are more than ready to tension the webbing and secure the load.
The Overcenter Buckle has a very simple design and is easy to use. This tensioning device puts extra tension on the strap for a stronger hold over the cargo. It also uses the webbing as a special pad to rest upon instead of directly on the cargo, which helps prevent the buckle from causing unnecessary damage to the load.
While not as popular as the Ratchet Buckle or the Cam Buckle, our Overcenter Buckles play a vital role in our Kin-Sider Curtain System. The buckles are what keep the curtain securely shut, protecting the cargo that’s stashed inside. Very easy to operate, they allow you to open and close the Kin-Sider in a matter of seconds.
Apply initial tension by pulling the handhold strap while the buckle handle is in the open position. As the handle is closed, additional strap tensioning occurs. The 1" Overcenter Buckle (FE8265-1), 2" Overcenter Buckle (909), 1 3/4" Stainless Steel Overcenter Buckle (970), and 1 3/4" Overcenter Buckle (974) release tension by disengaging the spring-loaded locking latch. All other models release by simply pulling up on the handhold strap.
1" Overcenter Buckles
Lightweight and very easy to use, our 1" Overcenter Buckle can help apply tension to the tie down strap to create a viselike hold over the load. A strong and durable tensioning device that can get the job done easily, our 1" Overcenter Buckle features a positive lock mechanism for added security.
1 3/4" Overcenter Buckles
We offer a couple of different 1 3/4" Overcenter Buckles for different tie down situations. Average tie down jobs can be done with a Standard 1 3/4" Overcenter Buckle. Marine tie down jobs can be done with our 1 3/4" Stainless Steel Overcenter Buckle which is resistant to rust. Tie down jobs in which there isn’t a lot of space for maneuvering, we have our 1 3/4" Hook End Overcenter Buckle to help you out.
1 3/4" Standard Overcenter Buckle
With its simply design of a one-piece frame and lever, our 1 3/4" Standard Overcenter Buckle offers easy and reliable tensioning with little effort. This is the kind of buckle you need to gain a quick and secure hold over your cargo while also adding some extra packing so that the buckle doesn’t accidentally damage the load by using the webbing as a pad.
1 3/4" Stainless Steel Overcenter Buckle
The 1 3/4" Stainless Steel Overcenter Buckle is the ideal tensioning device to use whenever you’re dealing with a tie down job near water, such as securing your boat to a trailer or holding something down inside a boat. The stainless steel finish helps prevent the moisture from rusting the buckle, so it remains strong and smoothly operation even when wet. In addition, this Overcenter Buckle can be used with our Kin-Sider Curtain System to gain quick and easy side access to your cargo.
1 3/4" Hook End Overcenter Buckle
The 1 3/4" Hook End Overcenter Buckle removes the need for a Fixed End, allowing you to directly attach the buckle to the anchor point. This is very handy when space is limited in which you are unable to gain proper leverage. Operating the buckle is just as easy as before, and it provides a strong hold on the strap for a reliable tie down job.
2" Overcenter Buckles
Thanks to its spring-loaded locking feature, our 2" Overcenter Buckle holds the load down firmly and keeps it from shifting around during transit. Built for the bigger tie down jobs, this tensioning device is able to perform with optimal strength with very little effort. The 2" Overcenter Buckle with a Black Finish is engineered to be used with the Kin-Sider Curtain System. Built for easy operation, this tensioning device keeps the curtain firmly shut. When it’s time to access the load, it can be quickly loosened and opened in seconds.
